Family Day @ Dr. MLK Jr. National Historic Site
Today we went on the first of many planned family outings in Atlanta, visiting the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site. We had a great time visiting the museum, memorial to Dr. and Mrs. King, visiting the historic firehouse and Birth Home in the Sweet Auburn District of Downtown Atlanta. Nadia the Ladybug!
Today we went to a Halloween Carnival hosted by our friends at MEGA Family Project, and Nadia had so much fun as a Ladybug! Many of our friends from our extended family were there with their children all decked out in very creative costumes. Nadia is now a big two year-old!
It's so hard to believe that our little "baby" is now a big two year-old, but on October 18th we celebrated her 2nd birthday! Many friends and family members joined us to help us celebrate in what was a fabulous and fun party. We are so fortunate to have a wonderful extended family and support system. Nadia's First Cruise
This past week, we enjoyed a 5-day cruise with Nadia and Grandma & Grandpa Curtis. We left from Jacksonville, Florida, and visited Key West and Nassau, Bahamas. Check out our photos from the cruise!

Beach Vacation @ Tybee Island, Georgia
Recently, we took a family vacation with MEGA Family Project to Tybee Island, near Savannah, Georgia. This was Nadia's first experience at a beach, and she really enjoyed it! Lots of our friends attended this important weekend, where GLBTQ families from all over Georgia converged to share stories, get to know one another and have fun! Father's Day 2007 in Florida
After going to Walt Disney World we visited Mom & Dad Curtis for an early Father's Day. Nadia really enjoyed playing with Grandpa and Grandma, and the weather was lovely enough to enjoy much time outside. Check out our Flickr Photo Set to see photos from this visit.

Walt Disney World Vacation!
We enjoyed a lovely 4-day trip to Orlando where we visited Walt Disney World with our cousin Jamena and her two sons, Javon and Justin. Nadia really enjoyed her first trip to Disney, where she saw her first shows (she really loved Donald Duck) and had her first "Character Encounters". There are lots of great shots in our Yahoo!
